Welcome to Class

Welcome to Three Dimensional Design.  The class revolves around creating a portfolio of images using the very powerful 3D software, Blender.  The great news is that this program is entirely free to download and use.... forever.

The first week will be about getting up to speed in creating your accounts and getting your software  working.  We will also start small with the first project listed on the syllabus...

Important!.... click on the link In the email I had blogger send you it will be from Jerry (me)...  There are instruction on creating an account at blogger and joining the class blog... you don't need to create your own blog... just join the class one..  Here is a link to the blog:

We have three students in this class... put all of your work here on the blog.  No need to put work on fotothing.com, if you have seen reference to it in the syllabus.

Download and install your image editing program...

Look over past student work posted on the blogs, linked from the syllabus.

I want you to have fun with this class and not get hung up on any of the technical stuff...  Once you get rolling, you'll see it is fun and very engaging...

Don't hesitate to call me at home if you are stuck!

    Hello Prof. Nevins,

    Thanks for the post.

    I already downloaded and installed the Adobe Photoshop but it didn't give me 60 days. It is now good only for 7 days.

    Please advice.

      I am not happy that Adobe went to a 7 day trial in May without telling anyone... you can still rent it for $9.99/month or higher for month to month...

    Good evening, Prof. Nevins.

    My name is Edgar Jones and this is my first year, third mod, at Albertus. I have always a bit of a drawer, but I feel like this class can give me more insight into the world of 2-D. I can't wait.

    My name is Maria Case and I have never taken a mod 3 class at Albertus. I have downloaded and installed the Adobe Photoshop. I know nothing about two dimensional design but hope to learn more through this class.
